Willard, keep saying this over and over again. Making foolish statements like this example, below the fold, is guaranteed to give an unprecedented victory to President Obama, keep the Senate in Democratic hands and turn the House back over to Democrats, as well. Honestly, Willard Romney is the WORST candidate for president that I have ever seen.
What a helluva price to pay for Jeb's endorsement
At a campaign event in Maryland, Mitt Romney credited President George W. Bush with keeping the country from a great depression in 2008, BuzzFeed reports.
Romney: "I keep hearing the president say he's responsible for keeping the country out of a Great Depression. No, no, no, that was President George W. Bush and Hank Paulson."
Hours after he secured the endorsement of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney credited his brother, President George W. Bush, with keeping the country from a great depression in 2008. "I keep hearing the president say he's responsible for keeping the country out of a Great Depression," Romney said at a town hall in Arbutus, Maryland. "No, no, no, that was President George W. Bush and [then-Treasury Secretary] Hank Paulson." With the economy turning around, Romney appears intent on denying President Barack Obama ownership of the recovery, as he's previously argued that any reduction in unemployment has occurred despite Obama's policies. Romney's statement comes in the midst of a tough day for his campaign, following a self-inflicted wound by strategist Eric Fehrnstrom, who compared his candidate's shift to the general election to shaking an Etch-A-Sketch.Willard is being rather laughable and senseless by touting his support for anything Bush touched. The reality is that Willard is stupid for tying himself in any way to Bushonomics, because most Americans still blame Bush for the bad economy of the last few years, and rightly so.
I'm sure if we just give Willard a few more days, he will "ETCH-A-SKETCH" his statement to sound something like this: "We owe the great depression of 2008 to Bush policies"
The man has no values, integrity or core.
Eddie Haskel, meet Willard Romney.
